Guinness Promotional Cufflinks, probably from the 1930’s, enamel, rare $125.00.[wp_cart:Guinness Links:price:125.00:end]
“Arthur Guinness brewed his first stout in Dublin in 1759…” I used to win drinks by being able to recite the back of the bottle. This was before the draught cans. The secret was to keep drinking Guinness, as it is less alcoholic than other brews. Nobody ever guessed that. I should’ve bet money. With age, wisdom.
Then, as now, the old advertising slogan from the 1920’s had it right: Guinness is good for you.
