Fratelli Tallia Di Delfino

Fantastic fabric. Great hand. Very handsome. There are some wools that stand out. If you love the Italians, Leviner Wood has access to a few of them. Like the blue check above by Fratelli Tallia Di Delfino from their Napoli collection. “Clothes shaved in super 130s, super 150s or in blends with silk , cashmere or mohair jackets as well as unique looking and feel noble, addressed to men’s collections and international demanding.” (As their website will tell you.) You may have heard the name before. Canali likes to use the Delfino fabrics in their suitings.

The mill was founded in 1903 and is located in the Biella region of Italy, an area renowned for woolen mills that take the finest in Australian wool, Mongolian cashmere and silk blends and weave them into some of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. The secret, they say, is in the soft water and relatively unspoiled countryside.

So how well do these guys know luxury? Here’s a little annual event they host for a few car enthusiasts and menswear designers, buyers and others.

In case you want to book your trip, Leviner Wood is happy to show you the way…
